for the Modern Collector
Rare, limited editions in which light becomes form and vision becomes enduring, collectible art.
With a background in graphic design and advertising, Mark De Roeck approaches photography with a precise sensitivity to light, form, and composition. His practice began in black-and-white studio work and has since evolved toward the observation of pared-down landscapes within his immediate surroundings. At the core of his work lies a consistent inquiry: the articulation of space through controlled framing, where light and shadow define structure, and where each image exists in a state of quiet suspension.
